Think of uSync as a fresh start. A clean house. An open field on a breezy, summer afternoon.

We were overwhelmed by how messy and complicated social media was becoming. We wanted a place to share with our friends and to connect with like-minded people. We wanted something simple. So we created uSync. And we’re happy to have you here.

Before we get started, we have a couple of questions that will help us get to know you better. We know it can be a little uncomfortable to create a profile while you’re still new to our platform, but we encourage you to dive right in. Once we cover the basics, we’ll be able to make your uSync experience as unique as you are. We use a sophisticated system to curate content that will fit your interests. It’s all part of our goal to eliminate the mess and provide you with stories and events that you’ll actually find valuable. And no pressure! You can always change your profile later.

It’s easy. Here’s a quick breakdown of the steps.

  1. How should we communicate with you? Enter an email address. (Later, you’ll be able to choose what kinds of emails you’d like to receive.)
  2. Add your first name. (Easy!)
  3. Add your last name. (It’s so nice to meet you!)
  4. Choose male or female. (Or feel free to skip this question.)
  5. Add your birthday.
  6. What city do you live in? We want to show you all the cool events happening in your neck of the woods.
  7. Read through uSync’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We’re proud of this! We worked hard to create policies that are transparent and respectful of our users. Click on “I Agree”.
  8. Now here’s the fun part. If you had ten seconds to talk about yourself, what would you say? Don’t think too hard. What’s the first thing that pops into your head?
  9. Select your interests. This will determine what kinds of things you’ll discover first. Choose as many as you want. And go ahead. Try out some new ones, too. (You can always change your interests later in your profile.
  10. Last but not least, upload a picture of yourself.

That’s it! What you do next is up to you. What we love most about uSync is that each member can make the platform totally their own. We have tons of cool features for you to explore. Use them all, or mix and match to build your own perfect system. Our goal is to help you create a synchronicity between you and your world. Jump in! Have fun.
